One of the best hot dog places in Chicago, though lines are not out the door probably due to relative anonymity. Many of the guys behind the counter have been working here for years besides the owners and family. Hard if not impossible to pass up should you be in the near western suburbs. Fries are exceptional too.

Ok, I love this place so much. I came all the way from Denver to eat their delicious food. I got the two for $7.99 hot dog w/ fries special, the hot Italian beef sandwich and I got a Polish dog deep-fried. HOTT DAMN everything was so damn tasty. From the fries to giardiniera that fell off my Italian sandwich. The service was great, more like fun cuz they all you 2 or 3 times what you got so they can make sure they get it right. And it is cheap to eat there. It was less than $25 for all that deliciousness! Mickey's, you have my heart, thank you! I will be back.
The Italian Beef was outstanding!!! I enjoyed everything from my cheese fries to the strawberry shake... Next time we're up north I definitely know where to stop first ...
This is the hidden gem of the Chicago Metropolitan area where you get the actual Chicago style dog. Without question, they are the best hot dogs in the U.S. not just Chicago. Nobody I know that I introduce to Mickeys ever says anyone else has a better dog. Greys Papaya in NY and Pinks in California have nothing on Mickeys.
Currently 3 months pregnant and all I wanted was a hotdog. This was my first time trying this place and oh my god I’m in love! The food was phenomenal. We originally ordered 2 hotdogs with fries and had to go back to get 2 more hotdogs with fries because my husband and son ate the first meal🤣 Both times we ordered the food was ready in a minute! No waiting and it’s all made in front of you. Fresh and you can’t beat the price! This is easily our favorite drive up place now and we are excited to try everything else they offer🙂 Definitely coming back and recommending it to our friends/family.
Outstanding food! I was having a grouchy day. Saw the sign and thought a vienna beef hot dog would do. Then I ate one; devoured it in the parking lot. Then ordered an italian beef. Washed it down with RC zero. Lol 🤤 yummm! What a gem Mickeys is! I can see why they have been here for 67 years and surely twice as many years at least!
What an amazing opportunity we had to stop for the best Italian Beef I've had in a long time. The shoe string French fries were steaming fresh and hot! Had a great conversation with Mickey about the history and future of Mickeys and I can't wait to stop in again! Ty n God bless.
